NINA BEAN PATIENT NAVIGATION AND SURVIVOR SERVICES PROGRAM

A cancer diagnosis brings many challenges. In addition to learning how to manage your disease and the effects of treatment, you may suddenly be faced with overwhelming physical, emotional, financial, and practical issues. Just getting through the healthcare system can seem impossible at times.

We believe that people affected by cancer deserve support during this difficult time, not added stress.

  • Coordinating interpretation services
  • Understanding doctors’ instructions
  • Locating counseling and mental health providers
  • Connecting survivors with other support groups
  • Solving practical problems related to treatment (such as transportation, childcare, financial assistance, wigs and prosthetics, pain management and exercise)
  • Finding free and low-cost legal and financial counseling services

Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
