At Casa Esperanza, our goal is to meet the needs of our families in a caring and professional environment. Through a generous gift from Mr. Will Weinstein of San Francisco, CA, and other grants, Casa Esperanza is able to provide professional counseling and clinical support services for our guests and families.

Clinical support services include:

  • Professional counseling and confidential consultation regarding any mental, emotional, or psychological issues related to cancer and cancer treatment for individuals and families
  • Psycho-educational presentations and discussion groups for staff and families on a variety of issues related to cancer and cancer treatment
  • Ongoing training for Guest Services Team and support staff in appropriate areas related to cancer and cancer treatment.
  • Consultation for Casa Esperanza staff

The program is directed by Bob G. Stice, LPCC. Bob has over 25 years of private practice experience in the areas of clinical counseling and psychotherapy with individuals and families. For a number of years he provided clinical supervision for staff at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
